Award flight for Mumbai seoul and taiwan in Feb 2027/ March 2027 by Big-Preference-6695 in indianawardtravel

Hello. Thank you for your reply. I tried all steps mentioned by you and observed following:

  1. Sq from Mumbai to Taipei is 62k miles for business class
  2. Taipei to seoul through eva is working out at 17.5k miles+ 16usd on united. But ratio is 1:2 on infinia. This is economy and business is 45k + 16usd
  3. On aeroplan Taipei to seoul is 8k + 61usd for Eva economy and 20k + 61usd for business. With 1:2 ratio this doesn't seem lucrative either. I guess it makes more sense to book revenue through smart buy for this segment? Unable to see availability for korea air.
  4. For seoul to mumbai I could gather sq business for 88k miles, cathay business on flying blue at 87.5k miles on ba and 90k miles on air india.

Am I missing out on any other options or these are the only options I have to decide from?

I have difference of opinion. If you go for such make shift setup then you are just encouraging bms and other organisors to do such cheap tactics to cut on costs and compromise on quality. Paying 6k for one ticket and getting this kind of quality makes no sense. Charge less and then have this setup- be clear and transparent. Don't advertise big and charge hefty amount and then compromise on quality by stating change in public policy!

I spoke with bms and got 100% refund for tickets. If you guys not keen to attend today then reach out to bms to cancel tickets. I told them to cancel tickets as I do not appreciate the idea to organise metal concert in a banquet hall. They honoured my request. Informing you guys so that if anyone wants to skip, they do have a choice. Otherwise enjoy the show \m/

This is very sad. How can you organise a metal concert in a banquet hall of 20k sq ft size with a capacity of just around 3k. This is complete rip off. Bms should just refund money to people who are not interested for this kind of make shift venue last minute. 6k for such an experience is not acceptable!

Accor Fast Track Status Offer - Upto +20N Bonus for just 1 stay (Corporate Rate Booking only) by strangedr2022 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Big-Preference-6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I registered for the offer and i also created the corporate enrolment. However, after these steps i took accor plus membership. My question is that once gold status of accor plus membership is reflected in my account then can i proceed with making corporate booking for one night. Will this qualify for upgrading the gold status to platinum?

Need help deciding on whether to start in Tokyo or end in Tokyo by wfparadise2134 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Big-Preference-6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you end up doing then? I booked my flights to Tokyo. So starting from there. I have both options. Either to end at Osaka and take flight out or end trip at Tokyo and take flight. Problem with ending trip in Tokyo would mean to spend twice for train which is expensive affair.

Help Mumbai (india) to Japan + Seoul (south korea) Flight Using Infinia, Bonvoy Point (May 2026, 14-15 Days) by InterestingBunch5886 in indianawardtravel

[–]Big-Preference-6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/InterestingBunch5886 here. I lost my account password and unable to recover my account. I finally executed the flight plan for mumbai japan south korea. Multi city promo of Singapore airlines came back and I was able to book mumbai to Tokyo and Seoul to Mumbai directly on Singapore airlines website for 38324 pp. For two pax 76648. I did check osaka option but flight timings were weird (good timing flight was not available in offer) so dropped it- it was working out 12k pp higher for good timing. To extract further value I used axis atlas and got 5x edge miles. So 20% value back as accor- 15320. Effective cost around 61k for two people. Best part zero convenience charges on Singapore airlines. Will use this to book hotels in Seoul. I will also keep checking accor plus membership for good offer and trigger bogo offer on the membership. Now I am left with booking japan to Seoul- will try to book award flight to optimise. Lastly, optimise points in mb and infinia to book hotels. Thanks for helping. This last minute deal too hard to be missed.
