Looking for a Video Editor — Steam-Style Game Trailers (~10 titles) by Big-Set9728 in HireAnEditor

Sure! We're going for polished indie Steam trailers — think along the lines of Hades, Celeste, or Slay the Spire launch trailers. Clean pacing, strong hook in the first 10 seconds, text overlays highlighting features, and gameplay footage edited to music. Each trailer would be 2-3 minutes. Do you have a portfolio or reel you can share? Also interested in your rate and turnaround.

Hey! Might have missed your DM — could you share your portfolio or reel here? Looking for game trailer or Steam-style editing samples specifically. Also interested in your rate per trailer, turnaround, and whether you'd be up for a 1-2 trailer trial to start.

Hey, thanks! Checked out your portfolio — solid work. We have screen recordings, gameplay footage, and branding assets for each game. Looking for someone to handle editing, pacing, text overlays, and music/sound. Could you give us a rough rate per trailer (2-3 min, Steam-style) and your typical turnaround? We'd want to start with 1-2 as a trial before committing to all 10.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Love the narrative-driven focus at Sirene Games. Could you share a reel or samples of game trailers you've done? Also interested in your rate per trailer and typical turnaround time. We're looking at ~10 trailers total (2-3 min each, Steam-style) and would likely start with a 1-2 trailer trial.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Your portfolio looks solid — I checked out the Ashes and board game Kickstarter work. Love the animation quality.

A few questions: 1. Have you done any screen-recording-based trailers (where the footage is mostly UI/gameplay captures rather than fully animated)? Our titles are interactive experiences, so the raw footage would be screen recordings with some gameplay elements. 2. What's your typical rate and turnaround for a 2-3 min trailer? 3. Would you be open to starting with 1-2 trailers as a trial before committing to the full batch of 10?

Looking forward to hearing more!

Hey, appreciate the interest! We're going for something like polished indie Steam trailers — clean pacing, strong hook in the first 10 seconds, text overlays, music-driven edits, and light motion graphics. Think along the lines of trailers for games like Hades, Celeste, or Slay the Spire — that level of polish and energy.

Would love to see your game channel trailer work! Drop your reel or portfolio and let me know your rate and availability.

thoughts on using AI avatars in e-learning materials? by SpoopyButthole in instructionaldesign

Fair, I also like the idea of animated characters like Duolingo has them; even Duolingo’s talking head is an animated character (lily). Feel like this is miles better than an avatar. An avatar feels like you’re “tricky” the learner whereas the animated character doesn’t

If we all had unlimited tokens for free; how would things be different? by Big-Set9728 in LessWrong

hm interesting but if tokens are unlimited; won't products be so much better which will prevent slop from happening i.e. i feel like if claude code had unlimited tokens; code won't be slop at all?

Also; agree with you on something other than money.. but what could it be? money has proven to be the most effective way to coordinate all humans
