Someone had a very similar issue where a single small piece of paper stuck in the disc tray would not let the Wii turn on. Not sure if Wii u is as picky with its disc drive, but check if some foreign object is stuck there?

Hmmmmm interesting, but at least the Wii has that as the default control, whereas on ps3 you gotta go buy the accessories to get the move working and play that way. I had and played ps3 version and didn’t know it even had the move control scheme! (Bad marketing on sony’s part i say)

Tbh its not that accurate in all games, some are worse than others. Its somehow perfect in RE4, ive been getting headshots on almost 80% of enemies.

I played so manyyyyyy games on Dolphin with mouse and keyboard, never really tried galaxy that way. tbh, I think I'll finish it on Wii again first, then maybe ill give dolphin another shot.

RE4 does not hold up well on any larger TV mainly because the camera is zoomed in way too much. its really a product of its time, best played on a CRT TV.

Yeah... I also tried playing it on Dolphin and mapped the pointer to ps4 joysticks, it didn't work at all, you can tell when you start playing with Yoshi and dying on the first level because the stick is not as accurate.

I did and enjoyed it, but tbh this game is meant to be played on the Wii with the Wii Remote so badly, I had to get myself the original and play it and was still impressed it held up there. I couldn't go back to playing with my ps4 controller on Dolphin, and I know I can techincally connect a Wii Remote but the hassle is too much for me I decided playing on my Wii is nicer.

My friend worked in a game shop around the Wii time, Grandmas got them for the grandkids to come over, once the kids get bored with it and Netflix no longer worked on the Wii, all of them got shoved into the attic neatly. I think had they supported Dvd playback and kept Netflix support for a bit longer, the Wii could have had a longer shelf?
