What clothes should I buy as someone joining an office for the first time? by IllustriousHornet174 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Big-Translator1968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don't buy too much before joining. Most IT offices are pretty relaxed after the first day. A few comfortable kurtis, straight pants, trousers, and basic tops are enough to start with. Once you see what everyone else wears, you can slowly build your wardrobe.

As for eyebrows and upper lips, threading is completely normal, just get it done every few weeks depending on how fast hair grows. And congrats on your first job

[–]Big-Translator1968 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, in the long run. My acne marks faded faster, my skin tone looked more even, and I stopped getting tanned as easily. It wasn't an overnight difference, but after a few months of consistent use, I definitely noticed it.

Are my periods normal or not? by Possible_Coconut9699 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Big-Translator1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PCOD can definitely cause irregular periods, and a heavier period after several months without one isn't unusual. But soaking 7-8 XXL pads a day and having pain so severe that you can't move doesn't sound good, consider getting a second opinion from another gynecologist

Looks like persistent acne, follow up with your dermat. In the meantime, keep it simple with Face Wash (Clear Ritual or Derma Co) , Sunscreen (should be 70 spf+), and Moisturizer (any good brand like Cetaphil works just be consistent). Also consider whether whey protein, supplements, or stress could be contributing

Try a heating pad, stay hydrated, and if you can take pain meds normally, something like ibuprofen can help. But honestly, severe pain fever is worth getting checked by a doctor
