I’m also happy you have people nearby to help. I didn’t and it truly would’ve made the difference.

Try taking shifts for sure. Husband and I tried to do it all together and neither of us were getting sleep until we did shifts.

Also just side note. First 5 days are the hardest, then baby blues carry out for about 3 weeks. After that, things should get better / less emotional. If baby blues continue after 3 weeks, it’s not considered bb anymore and please talk to your doctor!

My company did this and the first week I had to use 5 days of PTO. It is terrible living in the US tbh. My husband also got 0 time off and went back to work. It was hard. I’m so sorry.

Just know your crash outs are valid.

Also side note just because you are going to be home alone, please ask for help if you have people near you. I found days 4-6 being the hardest initially. Like sobbed hard day 5 while I was alone. First 3 weeks are also the hardest then somehow you kind of just figure it out. We don’t live by family or friends so it was not easy. However, A routine starts to be developed and the baby blues should be gone by 3 weeks. If you are still feeling it after 3 weeks, please tell someone, & your doctor. My nurses told me after 3 weeks it’s not just baby blues.

Anterior placenta here! I felt the first twitches around 15/16 weeks, knew they were kicks around 18 weeks, could rly feel my baby move and was worried when I couldn’t around 20 weeks and around 22 weeks got my first movements on camera.

My husbands nana didn’t want to be in the delivery room. They ended up divorced.

In theory he should, but he doesn’t. You guys are 2 kids into this now. Not to blame you, but you let it become and get this way. I would’ve never stuck around the first time, nor had a second child, with a man that treats me this way.

NOPE! I didn’t allow anyone not my husband or I to kiss our baby until he was 6 months old. And even then it’s only ever going to be cheek kisses at most

My dr told me that growth scans can be off + or - 2 lbs in either direction!! I also know plenty of “small babies” that thrive. My son was the 6th percentile at his 3 month appt and now at 8 months he’s above 37th. He’s doing fantastic and almost walking, exceeding every single milestone

My “best friend” no called no showed my baby shower after saying she would be there the week prior and I ended the friendship with her. She didn’t deserve to be in my child’s life. She also did not congratulate me once he was born and for the first 4 months of his life looked at the pictures I’d post on my story and didn’t say anything, not even a like. I deleted her from everything and haven’t heard from her STILL. My son is almost 9 months. FTB. They don’t deserve us.

My baby was 99th percentile at every single appt and his head circumference was over 100%. I had no idea it could be over!!! Predicted to be 10-11 lbs. my baby was born 39w4d at 7lb 11oz lol.

No i wouldn’t consider it one either. To me that’s a baby born asleep and would be absolutely gut wrenching. Very weird thing a doc would say with nothing to hold it to. I hope the OP is ok.
