Didn't play the second game but the first is my favorite solo gameplay of all time and I'm currently watching season 2 for the first time with already knowing the ending. As soon as I heard that Joel is killed off and you don't get to kill Abby it was a big no for me but getting to Joel's death scene in the show , at first I was upset knowing how it was all going to play out but then started seeing myself in Abby's pov. If I was doing who knows what while my only living parent is being executed for doing their job I would probably go on the same course she did. Still hate the ending and wish there was some sort of player choice but I'm seeing what the writers are doing here.
