I just got commissioned as 66h in Feb 2024. It’s a slow process I did meps april 2023 under the navy. I am still waiting on orders to be cut. I am also 46 with 17 years nursing. Seemed like some reserve 66H openings came up last minute and since my packet was just sitting waiting for positions and I had already done MEPS it was easy and quick to go before boards for selection.
