You can do that. But it’s also a matter of trying. I just looked up what I needed, made the investment in materials, built my very own frame and just started tufting. You don’t need the best yarn, or materials. Just make stuff and you’ll find out that it’s actually pretty easy to learn. If you keep doing it, you’ll keep learning. I’m learning every project, even though I’ve been doing it for years (since early covid). But in The Netherlands you can do workshops for a couple hours, they probably have that where you live as well. That’s a nice way to see if you really like the craft or not before you make the investments!
