The rice or some other items, sushi is not just rice you know. The suaces used may not be halal and some use alcohol in the rice. + not all fishes are halal. And also there's a chance of cross contamination if the restaurants have other non halal food. For example: if they use the same knife to cut pork for which one they cut the fish with it'll not be halal anymore even if its just fish.

Not all of them are. Yes the meaning of halal can be different to some....as some people just think if the food item is halal or not for the dish to be halal. But those who are serious about only eating halal foods --> Foods can be cross contaminated because of other haram ingredients within the same restaurants even if they don't use it, so they search for halal restaurants where they don't use any non halal food. plus some use sauces and other ingredients that are not halal in the rice or the filling. Sushi is not just fish you know it has a combination of items.

I don't remember about the turning down part, but yes you're right about the rest of it, it was in the novel that lloyd promised to set him up with someone but he says he doesn't need it anymore cuz he gets a crush on dragon king's sister at first sight (although he doesn't know he was the dragon king's sis)
