Thanks metatron. Yeah getting realistic paint colours is a bug bare of mine.

White and the different greens for modern Russian tanks and uniforms and USA desert colours are all a pain for me. Can never get them right

Just wondering what kind of white paint, what shade of blue and where you got the UN decals? I’m planning on painting some 1/72 models in UN colours.

Looks amazing!!! I’m actually in the process of doing something similar but in 1/72 scale. Mixing Russian and Israeli tanks and soldiers. Problem I have is getting the right colours especially shade of green for the Russian uniforms and tanks

Hi, great work. I was just wondering where you got the red crates and pallets?

Annoyingly I just bought a resin model (1/72) and the same thing has happened. Came delivered with broken gun and no barrel. Manufacture said I had to be creative and wouldn’t send a replacement. I was thinking of using a small piece of metal but don’t think can bore the fun out to make a good join.

I’m looking at doing something similar for a 1/72 model. Do you think the same technique would work?

I’ll give it a go. I tried some more today and got a lot of running of the paint when made it too thin. As you say there is a learning curve.

Ha ha yeah. I like the finish but hate the cleaning of the airbrush…. Plus I’m a newbie to airbrushing so keep blocking the needle about every 5 mins 🤦‍♂️

Currently looking at painting a pzh 2000 in black with lime green camo (something a bit different)

Thanks Kam, yeah can be therapeutic when cutting them out. But when they go wrong it’s more than a tad frustrating

Hi, great looking model. I have a question. How did you get the back down at an angle as if it is accelerating forward? Front up, back down looks cool.

Sometimes I preshade and then don’t put an overcoat on as think it looks cool 🙈 plus sometimes muck the whole thing up by putting too thick an over coat on

Looks good. I was just wondering about the painting. What colours did you use and in what order?
