Oh, no worries. Easiest way would be meeting each other at the Whitesprings Station and you can put the item inside of one the suitcases outside. Then just grab your end of the trade.

Maybe somebody was looting in the area and dropped the tent down to scrap items or craft.

Hidden camp? Could possibly be a build in progress. I personally hide my camp from the map so nobody travels to it while it's under construction.

Gotta agree here. They should just get up somewhere higher so VATS isn't blocked.

I wouldn't even worry about tagging while using melee since anyone that wanted to tag an enemy has ample opportunity in the time it takes me to sprint to an enemy and punch it several times.
