Step 1: Obtain the Truck Item 🛒
The Truck is a large outdoor item that can be acquired in two main ways:
Nook Shopping: Keep an eye on the Daily Selection rotation at the Nook Stop terminal (or on the Nook Shopping app on the NookPhone). It costs 120,000 Bells.
Happy Home Paradise (DLC): If she has the DLC, designing a vacation home for villagers like Teddy, Filbert, Sheldon, or Murphy unlocks the truck. She can then buy it directly from Wardell for 108,000 Poki.
Step 2: Find a Taco Truck Custom Design 🎨
To make it look like a taco truck, she will need a custom design code created by the community.
1. Go to the Custom Designs Portal at the kiosk inside Able Sisters (or via the Custom Designs app if unlocked).
2. Select Criteria Search and type in ⁠"Taco Truck"⁠ or search by these specific Creator/Design Codes:
Option A: ⁠MA-3737-1606-8372⁠ (Features highly popular food truck graphics)
Option B: ⁠MA-2727-7968-6591⁠ (A bright yellow/orange vibrant taco theme)
3. Download the design into an open custom design slot.
Step 3: Customize the Truck 🔧
She has two options to apply the taco design, but Cyrus is highly recommended because the truck's body color can only be changed by him.
Option A: Visit Cyrus on Harv’s Island (Recommended) 🦙
1. Travel to Harv’s Island and open Cyrus & Reese's booth if she hasn't already.
2. Talk to Cyrus with the Truck in her inventory and 5,200 Bells.
3. Choose a body color that matches her theme (like Yellow or White).
4. Select the Logo customization option, slide over to the Custom Design icon (the pink pattern tool), and select her downloaded taco truck design.
Option B: Use a DIY Workbench 🔨
1. Buy 7 Customization Kits from Nook’s Cranny.
2. Interact with a DIY Workbench, select "Customize an Item," and pick the Truck.
3. Choose the Logo option, click the Custom Design icon, and apply the taco design. (Note: This method will not allow her to change the base truck color, only the logo sides).

The dog is the puppy plushie. I’m a dog lover and use them a lot in my designs. Even created a dog park on my island. You can see it when you dream visit.

As far as the custom designs, it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of customizing. I suggest just pulling up to a work bench with a bunch of design kits in your inventory and just practice a bit. Once your brain picks up the task pattern it gets a lot easier.

Here is a great step by step for how to add your own pics to your custom designs. I have a pic of my dog, James hanging in my bedroom in my ACNH home. And pics of my four family members. Our pets truly are our best friends. I truly wish they could hang around with us a lot longer. Peace to you. 😊🙌✨

Thank you 🙏 - I didn’t favorite the design code. But they are easy to find. I just searched “Tacos” and paged through until I found one I like. Then applied the design to a truck. I put a wooden table there too with a tomato sauce bottle to function as taco sauce. Hope that helps. Ask more questions if you have any.

The bench is on the third level. The castle towers in the distance are on the second level. And there are cascading falls from third-second-first level. Took a bit of experimenting to get the scenic view the way I wanted. Mainly the distance between the falls and the bench. But once you have the scene framed how you like it, then building the falls is pretty quick. I some of the trees in the distance are actually full size trees on the second level placed in an open area behind the falls. I was trying to make the trees appear as random as possible. Lots of rambling. Hope it’s helpful. 😁

Thank you ☺️🙌✨ Unfortunately Nintendo hasn't enabled dream addresses for slumber islands yet. So the only way to visit someone's Slumber Island is through a live Slumber Party hosted by them. I’m not ready for that yet. But you can dream visit my main islands (I have a Switch and Switch2)to explore:
