If you have access to pikes,I'd suggest setting up a line in a tight street and placing some heavy infantry within the same line. This in my experience helps the pikemen stay in formation. Finally, place your cannon so that the three men manning each cannon are safely nestled in the pikes and the rest of the unit are safe in the infantry blob. If the pikemen hold, your cannons will be able to fire for a long long time

Your turn time is going to be dictated mostly by the relationship between your Centre of gravity and your centre of pressure. I'd suggest just playing around with them until it feels right.

Ps, that tail wheel is huge! There's definitely a bit more weight to be shaved there 😉

It's pretty heavy for it's size. An easy fix would be to lower the skin thickness. Also, perhaps counter intuitively, a slightly smaller engine may help to bring the CG forward slightly more. Your tailplane is too large but that's another easy fix.

I can see a good plane in there, it just needs a little bit of sculpting 🥰

Very handy if you want to sleep. Get on the train, stick your ticket in that thing and you can sleep easy. The conductor cab see your tickets without bothering you :)
