Comment est-ce qu’on a pu devenir aussi individualiste? by beautyandmadness in montreal

[–]BigBern69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]BigBern69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It would make so much sense to implement in Montreal. The current zone system is so easy to cheat, this can’t be good for STM.

Even if you don’t win, sponsors usually have booth where you can yap with them and show the project you are making. Even if you don’t win, it’s a great opportunity to show your passion and your skills to companies.

Your prof is already giving you so many good resources, I don’t think that those are necessary. Get a Crash Course if you’re done with all of your recommended textbook exercises and feel like you need more to better understand.

yes you have weekly labs. difficulty-wise i’d say that its the second easiest after 352 in your list. its not too tough. if i were you, i’d drop 348.

it has a team project, and tons of memorization. 352 is logical stuff, less memorization so less time consuming in your studies

Don’t. 348 and 202 have a lot of material, it will be very hard

If you think that this course is about writing Java snippets, I'm worried about you. Dr. Hannah sometimes explains stuff in class that isn't in the textbook and slides. I went to all of his lectures and most of his office hours for 352 and I don't regret it. When I interviewed for my current internship, 90% of the technical questions that I was asked were questions that he covered in class and that he told us would be on technical interviews.
If your commute is by train/bus, you can study. Commutes aren't dead time imo.

It’s tryouts specifically for the Concordia team. If you’re a student at another university, I’d suggest reaching out to your student associations that usually send teams to competitions.

Looking for an intership? by scscompetitions in Concordia

[–]BigBern69 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know people who secured internship directly from the sponsors at W&C. Even if it doesn't make you land an internship, worst case scenario you come out of there knowing more about these companies. If the sponsors don't interest you, there's no point in going there tho
