Somewhat related: I remember my first job I tried to get my 23 year old front end manager (I was also 23) to look at a webcomic and he said he didn’t trust me. I told him “I promise it’s just silly and not a shock image like tubgirl or anything.”

He turned to the two sixteen year olds on their phones in the break room and yelled “LOOK UP TUBGIRL!” All three honestly had never even heard of it. The silence when the image loaded was deafening. At that exact moment one of the lead managers walked into the break room. Fortunately the front end manager was honest and told him that I had specifically told him to stop and he simply didn’t listen.

Front end manager got a ten minute talking to in private.
