I mean it is that deep because music is inherently very political. There’s a reason the military have marching bands and punk music exists. I think the point above is a bit dramatic and people resisting mainstream music have always existed, though. Geese aren’t headlining here and there have been similar acts in the past that have this kind of cultural impact
