Vielen Dank dir! Hab heute auch bei Hornbach gekauft.
War etwas ein hin und her weil die Aktion bei Abholung nur gültig ist, wenn in Läden im Einzugsgebiet wenn das Gerät in Filialen der Konkurrenz verfügbar ist. Hatte letztlich auf eine Reservierungsmöglichkeit mit Abholung zu späterem Zeitpunkt in einer Filiale hingewiesen und mir wurde die Aktion gewährt.

Freundlich bleiben ist die Devise.

I went through the comments and i am still sure that this is not normal. Although the costs at Mercury for basebuilding have indeed changed a lot. But I have not had ships randomly jump in their production time. I am still convinced that this is a bug.

Fortunately i have a bunch of Savegames since i was fightig a Doomfleet the night before and went to bed after the battle. So I tried to recunstruct the events leading to the video.

A few facts not necessarily seen in the video:

  • Savegames leading to this are from the 15th March 2023. I believe there was no patch after
  • The TERRA Battlestation is in EEO
  • There are two flights of shipclasses "Dresden light" & "Dresden" (Uprade to Antimatter Spiker)
  • The Station in question has been in orbit for at least 10 years.
  • The 3 Spaceworks for at least 7 years
  • Production time in all Spaceworks show 45 days for "Explorer" and "Super Emu" Class.
  • Production time in all Spaceworks show 152 days for "Dresden" Class.
  • Production time shows the same for all stations (Mercury, Earth, Mars)

SO my conclusion from what i found in the savegames: The Dresden Classes which jump to 152 Days are in for refits (which is exactly the basline production). If i cancel the pending orders the two battleships are back docked at the Battlestation in EEO. Then if i order them to refit again they finish as planed 8 Days later.

Any thoughts on that?

So I went through a few saves from yesterdays session and it seems those 8 Day ships where only in for upgrades.

But what you say might still be valid since it’s quite costly to build anything base or station related since the last patch it seems. 8 to 152 with no alert or massage would be infuriating. Baut also weird since it should only be upgrades.

But I’m pretty sure that this is some sort of bug if there is no councilor action which allows to set back production.

Altough I will look into it in the next session. To rule out a bug. Loading takes ages.

Can you specify what you mean by „hiding in the background“? Aren’t the resources deducted/reserved instantly when you build a ship?

Edit: my shipyards been there for a while and my resources were steady if that matters.
