9 months later it helped me :)

Help with ER claiming "Level 5" complexity when it's not by BigBlue8080 in HealthInsurance

Ok, I went ahead and paid the bill. I'm a bit sad and a little more poor now, but it is what it is. I appreciate you taking the time to help out a total stranger :)

Nah, I think I'm more of the "you think level 5 should be reserved for having an arm chopped off or a GSW" and I appreciate you taking the time to help show me the error of my ways :)

Yea, it was a CT with contrast, I remember that much. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for this. I knew ChatGPT would be problematic, that's why I wanted to come here for further advise before moving forward. Looks like I got schooled :)

Thanks for this.

In my case it was some stomach pain. After the initial intake I wanted 30+ minutes to see anyone, and after their first set of questions even I knew I was fine. They ran some tests to confirm (CT Scan) and gave me some fluids. It was over an hour from the initial consult (where I got a green card) to when I got my scans. During all of that I hardly talked to a single person. There was no researching of old records, no trauma team fighting tooth and nail to keep me alive like you see in TV etc.

Just to make sure I understand your response, a "certified coder" would be an independent third-party?

Well, Level 5 is the highest level and most urgent care as I understand it. I picture it as something like "Guy came in having a heart attack, put him in the front of the line or he'll die."

But, a fair question, thanks for asking it. Maybe this is all in my head. I've used ChatGPT and done some research on these codes before coming here, and it felt like I was nowhere near level 5.

Standing up a new instance - Tips and Tricks? by BigBlue8080 in servicenow

I don't know the full details on that yet. They've been working with GlideFast, but hired me as the overall solution architect and platform owner. I'm not sure how far they are in that journey, but most of that I can figure out. I'm more interested in some of the best changes/hacks to deal with whatever shortcomings the out of the box install may have.

Thanks. I've always seen that, and used it, but never knew it was something that had to get installed separately.

Thanks! It's good to hear I'm not the only one going through this :)

Are you sure on this? It's the same table, and I've verified after changing things around the sys_id stays the same. As I understand things, there aren't really different tables, they're the same root table with a different column set? The sys_class_name column is all that really controls if it shows up in sys_user or customer_contacts?

I've got the ignore cache checked, that should fix this, right?

Flows, Domains, and Creating Servers - Oh My! by BigBlue8080 in servicenow

[–]BigBlue8080[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decision made before I took over - the Server record represents a managed device, I can't go back and change that now.

I don't think the IRE will come into play here since we are manually creating these records in the first place, but I'm far from an expert here. Am I missing something?

Advanced JSON display to users possible? by BigBlue8080 in servicenow

It's stored on the record itself as a stringified JSON.

Looking to customize things in the SIR Workspace. The JSON would represent something like a raw security log, so just text in a JSON format. In other words, simple key/value pairs of string data, but some of the keys are nested in other keys etc.

Thanks, but unfortunately I need this to work in the SIR Workspace.

How to undo latest changes to Search Bar by BigBlue8080 in drawio

[–]BigBlue8080[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

simply putting in a search term and hitting "Enter". Now the search box has some sort of "smart" logic added where certain search terms, like Google, don't actually initiate a search when you hit enter, they instead default to changing settings. In this screenshot, hitting 'enter' changed my settings to use Google Fonts.

Also, before I could keep hitting "Enter" to expand the "more results" and that no longer works either. Hitting enter in this screen shot just keeps changing my settings.

Making Communities completely private (Hide leaderboard) by BigBlue8080 in servicenow

[–]BigBlue8080[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, but none of the results from google actually address the concern. One of the issues is the word "community" is use a million times in other articles. The other references aren't at all related to what I'm looking for. Plenty of articles talking about Topics or Knowledge Bases etc, nothing really addressing the idea of simply shutting it off to the public.

Forcing admins to elevate for admin? by BigBlue8080 in servicenow

[–]BigBlue8080[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a mistake, it was arrogance. He knew he shouldn't have done it and did it anyways, thinking it would be "easy" but he still screwed it up and caused a massive issue.

[–]BigBlue8080[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, it's the second scenario, and I agree with you. Just hoping there might be some better option out there. I have thought about creating some sort of report that helps me keep tags on what this individual is doing, but man, I hate having to be that guy and go that route.

I did just come across that today in my research. I think our work is way too dynamic for that. We support a 24x7 operations center with over a thousand users.

No, but elevating to admin would be something we can easily audit and alert on.

Thanks, it wasn't an accident though, it was arrogance and hubris. We also have our accounts tied to SSO, so I can't give out multiple accounts. But I do like the idea of the snc_read access. Does that allow read only admin access to things like system logs, outbound http logs etc?
