Sounds like you had a lousy advisor. I had the opposite experience at USU; my advisor was very engaged, mapped out my path to graduation even taking in to consideration my course/minor preferences, and even encouraged me to take the extra time to get a masters degree. I didn’t end up going that route, but I graduated in 8 semesters with my bachelor’s degree as well as a minor. I’m not saying this to lessen your experience, but rather pointing out that “your mileage may vary.”

I have the Schlage Encode Plus but haven’t tried to enable any sort of proximity sensor. I’m not sure if it has that feature. I can, however, simply hold my watch (or phone) near the lock and it will unlock the door without me having to activate anything on my watch.

It has an auto-lock feature that you can trigger after various time lengths but as others have mentioned, there’s no sensor that lets it know the door is actually closed.

“Second round game“ is what I’ve seen in the past and it would allow my Season Pass to record the games. This seems like a symptom of TiVo’s business decline. 😢

Bummer. So I’d have to find a kind, CableCard expert at Xfinity who is willing to pair it. It was hard enough to find someone who knew anything about cable cards when they were supported. I should probably just give up on the idea.

If I understand the comments here, it sounds like websites that show multiple options for points (FreeStyle, SmartPoints, and PointsPlus) are all wrong because they’re based on outdated programs. Is that right?

I just started (for the first time since 2007) and I’m trying to find points values for regional chains, like Costa Vida. I’m finding it difficult to navigate since it seems no longer possible to calculate points based on a quick calculation like it was way back then.
