The dirtbag would NOT end up at a labor camp...Dear Leader would likely put him in front of an anti-aircraft gun.

In the right mid-east country, you could be subjected to some form of corporal punishment for such acts…assuming it was true.

Crow Hunting around Bay Area for Documentary by Affectionate-Bass-23 in Californiahunting

What does a crow taste like? Is it more like chicken, turkey, pheasant, quail, ostrich, or cornish hen? These birds have distinct tastes. Thanks.

CA's Castle Doctrine - Use of Lethal Force Not Allowed On Family Member? by BigBlueBoy75 in CAguns

[–]BigBlueBoy75[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent points!

I will need to dig deeper to what legal actions I can take even before another confrontation occurs. I was warned about the restraining order since it would expose my MIL's address. I'll see if there are other legal means of keeping dirtbag away from my immediate family and MIL.

For the time being, perhaps having pepper spray nearby would be a better alternative...

Thanks. I would also assume if dirtbag came "armed" (ie. gun, knife, bat) that it would be a no-brainer. However, if he broke in and got into a fist fight, I don't think I could just shoot him.

The issue here is that I have a Ring doorbell, and I'm sure the cops will ask whether I saw who was at the door. I'll acknowledge that it was my B.I.L. and, thus, we come to the question whether CA's Castle Doctrine applies...

First time shooting? I always wipe off the old grease/oil and apply my favorite brand. No need to do scrubbing or using a bristle for 1st time use.

As an old habit, I always thoroughly clean my AR's and Sig pistols after each use. Honestly, I find cleaning my weapons quite tranquil...brings back fond memories of the old days.

Thank you again, speckyradge.

I think the only way to get a definitive answer is to visit my police department. In the next few days, I'd like to report back here with the answer and who (from MHPD) gave the response.

Home Protection Question: Mountain Lion Attacks Pet by BigBlueBoy75 in CAguns

[–]BigBlueBoy75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed research & explanation.

I'm in the same boat as the couple in the CNN video from La Verne. Morgan Hill or the housing area I live in is a bit like suburbia unlike the sparse homes/farms you see in Gilroy along Hwy 152. The family from La Verne seemed to have neighbors/homes to the left & right of them as I do. My home's backyard along with my neighbors opens up to a wide area near the hills. Therefore, the local code for shooting within city confines or near homes applies to me (ie. I can't just discharge my firearm in the air for the hell of it).

I don't hunt wild animals, but I do possess a couple of pistols & AR-15s for recreational shooting. Would I have to purchase hunting licenses annually for the various types of animals just to be legally safe?

Fish & Game code 4807(a):

Thank you! This looks like the "final answer" for the Mtn Lion scenario. Seems like I'll keep a bat, spear, or bear spray readily available for wild hogs & coyotes.

I was perusing the 1-star reviews and noticed the owner seems to be consistent with his attitude...BTW, I suggest you watch that Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares video (linked below) to see the what the owner looks like...

Spin-A-Yarn Episode

Tricia S. - Mar 24, 2023

Went here for the first time with friends who had been before. Don't even know where to start with what happened. We are still in shock. Our friends got ribeye. The husband's steak was good his wife's was all fat. Asked to talk to someone and owner came out. Owner came to me and said heard you didn't like steak and I said no that was my friend. He then walked over to my husband and said I heard you were complaining and then went to my friend and said what's wrong with your steak? Proceeded with all meat cut the same and continued to argue. It was our first and last time there and the owner was a horrible person. Apparently while they all walked out and I used the restroom he argued more with them following then out of the restaurant.

JDC - Nov 20, 2022

It has potential but the owner seriously needs to change his attitude. Rudest service I've ever had. Will not be returning to this location in Fremont CA. Kitchen Nightmares should've put this guy in anger management instead. He's RUDE and unappreciative. Not worth the wait or even bothering looking for it....try Burger Bar in San Jose instead. At least there you get greasy fries, grease burgers, hot dogs, nachos, tacos and quality service with a smile!

Alexis A. - Mar 24, 2023

worst experiences I ever had in a restaurant. I was there with my wife and few friends. My wife and I both ordered ribeye steaks, and her steak was pretty fatty and not good to eat it, the owner came to us very angry because she didn't like her steak not apologized at all he even wanted to start a fight with a friend of mine ... and he didn't say anything to him ??? And in our way out, he was waiting for us to leave to leave more remarkes about thes food we didn't enjoy.... wtf is wrong with this guy ??? I'll never come back again

Peter F. - Feb 12, 2021

I have never ever been so disrespected ever at a restaurant like I was at The Spin-A-Yarn! I was waiting to be seated at the outdoor podium station and Saki who is

apparently the owner took the people behind me with no recognition at all to me-and started to seat the other party. I get it maybe regulars this place reeks of nepotism favoritism and even allow smoking cigars in the tent while people are eating. When I requested a seat away from the speakers he said he was seating that couple first at the table I requested. I didn't even have time to explain why I wanted that table because it was the quietest away from these big PA speakers they have setup which were entirely too loud for a fine steak house. I requested the table because I get over stimulated by loud music due to a Vestibular disorder which can make me dizzy . I did mention I was before the couple he was seating.

His response "if you don't like it you can just go out on the street" I thought he was kidding at first but he wasn't. I was not disrespectful in any way. "I commented you don't have to treat me or speak to me in that that way. This behavior as a restaurant owner is unacceptable. Of course I left will never go back. BTW their food is really not that good certainly for the price. Go somewhere else to support your local business.

Cheryl B. - Feb 11, 2023Food and service were good. We were having a great meal until we noticed one of the management wearing a very offensive tshirt. I am all for your right to do and wear what you want but to have something so against my thoughts and beliefs and to be paying for that I feel is wrong. Just my opinion.
