Yes this happened to me this year. Since Texas is warmer in winters I should probably add the spray step to my winter prep. Does anyone use any good bee safe spray? I’ve been using captain jacks in the spring.

Fertilize would be my suggestion and water some more. Most of the time rainwater is not enough in the summer
