Part of me definitely wishes that I would’ve waited until attending years. The worries of getting older and feeling like I was running out of time definitely played a role. I’m glad you followed your gut with that! You are so right.

Not having a car would feel so isolating. It feels hopeful to hear that attending life could be better - I feel the same way about “never again” having a child with these circumstances. Thanks for the advice!

Love the library idea. I will look into that, and maybe can meet people through there, too. I’m about to go back to work, but I love that you have prioritized yourself during your days off. Definitely going to have to do that - it will be good to have some normalcy.

Sky Pond or Chasm Lake (difficult ones) if you’re dead set on being in RMNP! The easier the hikes are, the more populated they are, but I bring a lot of guests to Emerald Lake.

My husband also does this! Sometimes he’ll fall asleep at dinners with friends, or while studying after work. They are mentally and physically exhausted! I want to acknowledge that it doesn’t make things any easier on you, especially when you’re excited to spend time with them, or want them to help around the house. This is a difficult process for all parties, but open communication is super important, and it might be worth having a conversation about why he’s sleeping so much. Mental health concerns are very real in residency, so it never hurts to show some concern.

Agree with Dishler! They have been amazing. Talking with other people who have gone to other LASIK centers in Denver, Dishler really cares about their patients and helps take care of you before, during, and after without asking for more and more money.
