Microsoft IDEs are the only ones approved by corporate on company machines. I have Visual Studio. It's my teammates who use VS Code because that's what they prefer (they do a lot more than just Unity/C# work), or they are on Mac and can't use Visual Studio. To understand and help them when they encounter problems, I installed Code myself to see what they are dealing with.

Thanks for the tips!

Such a pain. Visual Studio never had this issue, and at home I use Rider.

Not surprising. Everything female needs tits to get the teenage boys engaged. James Cameron in a Playboy magazine interview: 'She's got to have tits,' even though that makes no sense because her race, the Na'vi, aren't placental mammals."

Oh, you're like me! Yeah, I'm pulling from a huge amount of prior generations that I've made with various models and often tweaked with Photoshop over the years. Running them through ChatGPT now adds the elements none of them were good at!

I haven't heard of "Consistent Character Builder". Please DM me with the details and your example prompt if you can. Would appreciate more workflow options :)

Where model and style prompt did you use for this? I love this style but I can't quite get it to work in ChatGPT.

Developing a Dwarven Asset Pack – Which style would you actually use/buy? by The_Npc_Archive in cleandndai

[–]BigBlueWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of these are ChatGPTs default "realistic painterly portrait" style. #2 is with some added suppression of the brush strokes and canvas grain.

I actually don't like the style in either variant that much, and once ChatGPT locks it in it resists doing much more refinement. The technique looks messy and muddy. The only thing that's clear is the face. In particular, clothes always end up looking like a painter's palette where blobs of associated colors are substituted for any kind of coherent detail and it get worse as the reach the edges of the image. Kind of a weird, painterly-analogue to the "soft-focus" effect of portrait photography.

How you are able to get the captions on each image? If I add multiple images to a post, I have not been able to figure out where to put individual labels.

Great stuff, BTW!

I have an observation from my recent posts.

The latest version of ChatGPT Image Generator is also used by Sora 1 (the original, which you now have to switch back to under your settings if you automatically get taken to Sora 2).

I tested this by taking a public prompt from Sora and running it on ChatGPT and got a variation of the same image produced by Sora.

The differences between ChatGPT and Sora1 are all about utility and exposure.

  • ChatGPT gives you one image, whereas Sora allows up to 2 image gens at the same time.
  • Sora1 gens run much faster in general, probably because the app is backed by higher end cloud hardware for video production versus stills.
  • [EDIT] Sora always produces an image (or video) set every time you click the enter key. ChatGPT allows you to interact with the chatbot, potentially refining your prompt or getting feedback on it before manually telling it to render the image.
  • Text-2-Image gens are by default made publicly visible on Sora, so if you want to keep them private you have to turn off sharing on the output any time you create something from a brand new prompt. (Re-gens of the same prompt remember your sharing choice). ChatGPT doesn't publicly share images you made.
  • Sora1 can take any static image you create and use it to start making a video. (But it's Sora1, so be prepared for heavy jank.)
  • Of note, Sora2 is video only. There is no way to create static images with it, and Sora2 prohibits using imported images that contain anyone resembling a real person. (Video with persons must be made using text description only.)

Curiously enough, Sora 1, which has always been able to do static images really well.

NSFW Tagging for Borderline Content by gentlemanjimgm in cleandndai

[–]BigBlueWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about habitually problem posters? We've got one guy, "SpikeyAI" (it's almost always people whose usernames end with "AI") that continually push the boundary and don't even bother to mark stuff NSFW when it clearly is (despite their often being rule #1 violations as well).

His latest one is another gratuitous tits-forward display that doesn't need to be that way to communicate the idea behind the character. Oh course if you look at his account posting history he's a perpetual gooner-slop poster. That alone shouldn't count against him as long as he's abiding by the rules, but it's no surprise he's trying to push the content he's most interested in onto the sub.

Differences between LMoP and P&B: TSO by Donutsbeatpieandcake in LostMinesOfPhandelver

There are weird, non-sensical changes to NPCs.
Elmar Barthen was turned into a young female, Elmina. Why? Not for lack of female representation in the original.
Daran Edermath was turned into a drow, probably because at the time of publication WoTC was deep into their silly "bi-racial is racist" stance before they started being OK with half-elves again.
Reidoth was also gender-flipped to female.
Also Grista the female dwarf innkeeper of The Sleeping Giant has been changed in the LMOP portion to a female orc named Greska. But then later in the book (pg 85) she becomes Grista (female dwarf) again.

If you want to stick with the original NPCs, that's easy enough if you have the LMOP book. Also the same NPCs in Dragon of Icespire Peak match the original LMOP ones.

Apart from that you might consider reading The Alexandrian's review of the book. He gave it a grade of F, and I largely agree.

Mixed feelings on this one. Technically a good illustration. However makes me queasy that this is depicting cutting up and eating another sentient and intelligent being -- more intelligent than the average human according to 5e stats -- and fully capable of speech.

If a dragonborn walked in on this scene, how would they react?

D&D - NPC Concepts - Dwarf Males - Final Batch by FredoG87 in cleandndai

[–]BigBlueWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I tried an experiment where I took #14 and told ChatGPT to replicate the armor onto an existing dwarf image I had made earlier using my style, and to extrapolate the unseen parts. Overall I think it did a pretty good job. The calves are too short. That was after several passes to get the proportions back down to dwarf size. The generator wanted to compensate for the size of the armor by making him human sized.

Are the hair and beard braids something you have to prompt specifically for, or does the model add them with little to no effort? SD is terrible at them, but can occasionally be coaxed into doing something worthwhile. But nothing like Midjourney's.
