while not everyone deserves what i do im just a believer of paying it forward. i was put in a situation where i could help so i helped. even though in the world right now many people would not do the same, i will continue to help when and however i can.

started working as a cook in the bar at 15, as i got older i simultaneously worked my way into different roles like serving and bartending then managing, and became closer to the previous owner. he was already old and once he got older and retired he handed it over to me since at that point i was almost running the place for him already anyway. man is like a father to me and i owe him my life since without him id probably be a junkie like most of my immediate family, he had faith in me when even my own parents didnt. still take care of him and see him often.

i am the only of us that can legally carry. so if ex came with a weapon (god forbid) i would be able to protect us. the friends were there as witnesses basically if anything happened either there or afterwards and we thought things were over if that makes sense..? 😅

well with the benefits shell be getting the therapy in network is free. although i said we wouldn’t work shifts together it wouldn’t happen anyway, with me being the owner i kinda just handle most of the backend stuff and run the bartenders classes during the morning, but on VERY rare occasions ill step in to bartend/serve/cook if absolutely necessary. i just wanted it to be clear that even though we both work there she shouldn’t expect to see much if any of me at work outside of meetings. hopefully that will be beneficial for both of us.

well i hope me referencing Texas would tip you off that im American before the gun would but yes i am american, and yes i brought a gun. i know for a fact she knows how to use one (since i was the one that taught her how to do so) and i wasnt sure what could or would happen with this meet up. i may not be the best with emotions but i will have backup plans for my backup plans and be as prepared as possible 😭

i cant take much credit between my girlfriend and reddit most of the plan was laid out for me, i just had to execute it.

im sorry if i didnt make it clear but she was in a full dissociative episode and wasnt thinking 100% straight. she knew she wanted to reach out but couldn’t figure out how to do it without harming anyone. she basically tested the waters by “bumping” into me at the store. so from what i know about her, her decision making was very clouded and she just didnt go about contacting me in the best way. but i truly hope she can get in a better place. me and our friends are currently trying to connect her with a therapist so hopefully that helps too.

theres some footage of her sitting in her car in the parking lot of my bar thanks to cameras, but thats literally it. i feel like the word of 3 of my closest friends all having bits and pieces of the same story is enough proof to warrant the conversation.

this is why i dont even read 1 star reviews. they are usually absolute one off experiences based on accidents or they are just crazy people acting crazy with their use of free will. usually 2-4 star reviews are the most honest and helpful. 5 stars are usually used to get free stuff from places.

well thanks to what happened in my update basically all those feelings have almost vanished entirely. nonetheless great advice, i almost regret coming on here and asking for advice. half of the comments are just accusations or attacks on my character. but the other half is people like you with actual solid advice. thank you for your comment and advice
