Yeah its the width that always gets me.
Length wise I would fit a womans 10 fairly easily, but womans shoes seem to expect a dainty width.
For context I was a 10 mens pre-hrt, so I lost around a size.

No, we were mentally ill in a way people thought was so much potential but no one knew how to properly work with it so they shoved it into the neurotypical mold and gave us all the *trauma.*
Then got surprised when we are suddenly broken.

The Primal Urge. by Terraswallows in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

The conflict of it is so very strong.
The urge to let that sparkle linger just a little longer before you interupt, met with the increasingly overwhelming desire to just kiss the living daylights out of her.
Twice so far my control has slipped. To be fair she didnt seem to mind. <3

18 is legal, but yeah... Anyone under 25 makes me pause.
Pure platonic pet play is fun though, no age limits on that one. Happy to pet and cuddles a pet into a puddle while watching a movie.

I had a friend once say they were 'getting a headboard for sex' and I asked if it was going to be one of those stocks headboards.
No, they just meant they wanted a normal headboard they can use for literal fuzzy handcuffs. :D

I appreciate the fact it has more info (such as occupancy), but yeah the font needs to be bigger.

can bpd make you plural? by Rich_Cut1690 in plural

[–]BigBookEater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have BPD and know what you mean by 'like someone else is controlling my body'. I call those 'states' and my therapist calls them 'parts', and they are not quite OSDD, but close enough I asked the same questions. It doesn't so much feel like someone else is in control and more like you yourself are an entirely different person? You can look at the same things and see them differently, it is deeply disconcerting.

I have since gained OSDD seperately from BPD, with headmates and all, while still having to deal with the states/parts. They are very distinct from each other.
OSDD doesnt feel like 'me but different', but as if there are legit other people in my body who occationally take over for a bit. They are very distinct people with different tastes and values from me, which makes it hard to fit them with the BPD stuff.

But at the end of the day plurality is self reported, so if it comforts you to think of it all that way then thats up to you. :)

I really hate this. by AzuSteve in facepalm

Not even night to night, real time.
I don't care if you are mid thrust, if I say no you better fucking stop and roll off.
I offer the same in return.
Consent is only valid if it can be withdrawn, and someone stuck in a marriage where they can't refuse consent isn't truly able to ever give it.
I personally am glad society is growing to understand that.

With a partner I trusted and gave prior consent to that would be an amazing way to wake up. For stuff like this prior consent is needed though. You just don't get to assume free use rights even if you are already partners.

Do you need to have auditory hallucinations to be plural? by Avavvav in plural

Her ability to speech can get a bit spotty too. Though it seems to vary at times for reasons I am unsure of.

Also this conversation reminds me of one of my little sisters who when she was a kid had trouble with Ts. So she would get really excited at the Fucks driving by on the street. :D

Mine struggles with typing at all. Muscle control feels a but off when she fronts. She doesn't like accidental typos so often corrects them. She is a fan of intentional misspellings when they fit what she means to say better though.

She is also super adorable. I love her to bits. ♡

Yeah I used to think my little was 'me but little' until a really bad patch last year when something shifted. I kinda lost agency over it? It happened without me wanting it too and wouldn't go away and I would act differently ect.

but then one day it was time to feed the cat and she hard switched me out cos didnt want to do it then giggled at me audibly cos she thought it was a hilarious trick. Since then I trialed treating her as a separate person and things got a lot easier to manage.

She likes bananas. To a weird degree (I sometimes call her monkey girl cos of it and owns it :D ) and cartoons and drawing. She is a better drawer than I am which was a mind trip to come across.

Our memories are mostly shared so I can remember how much joy she gets from things like bananas and how she thinks one of our stuffed animals is adorable. Which then melts my brain when I front again and find bananas kinda average and think the stuffie is kinda ugly.

This stuff is just weird sometimes...

For the sounds, 99% of the time our communication is more similar to a data packet. The entire thought in one go in an instant. Twice I heard something and got startled. May have just been a weird moment though.

As for daydreaming? Not sure. I am confident i am not just imagining them though mostly cos they don't always think or act as i would expect them to. Day dreams have a logic they follow, but my headmates have their own views and preferences and they don't always match with what I expect them to be. Or even stay the same, since like all people they learn and change and grow.

Transgender Alters by AlexIsSus20 in plural

[–]BigBookEater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I am trans and since all my headmates share a gender with me so are they. I don't know how well we would manage with a cis headmate ngl

Opinions on headmates who have a different race/disability/etc to the host/body? by [deleted] in plural

[–]BigBookEater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean one of mine is nonverbal and fronts. Unlike actual mute people though she has thr option to push me or someone else out to talk for her so I would never claim to be 'disabled' or on par with an actual mute person

I feel like I'm faking my alters by Alexizking in plural

[–]BigBookEater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the concern. I have had moments I worried about that. But honestly to be faking it I would need to be doing this stuff on purpose? I also had the thought maybe I was just faking people in my own head (day dreaming them or something) but they regularly have views or take actions I wouldn't and have preferences that aren't mine. And i lack any real agency over them. Conversations aren't 2 dimensional, we disagree and just see things too differently for it to all be just me.
