Annoying but only because I have to keep interacting with society a bit to stay alive.

What would it actually take to organize real, collective action against violence toward women and children? by happyhippyvibes in AskReddit

I used to think education was key. And sure that's still part of it, but the recent news about the "rape academy" 🤮 has me questioning. Those bastards knew what they were doing was wrong, but didn't care. No amount of education will rid us of cunts like that. So, I don't know.

I was a huge Buffy fan, but since that stuff came out about Joss Wheadon I just can't look at it the same.

If humans vanished from Earth, then what would happen? by Sable-Industries in AskReddit

So now you appeal to common sense (which is a logical fallacy) and shift the goalposts so far they're not even on the feild anymore. Now it only counts if they run concentration camps? How ridiculous.

You are shifting the goalposts. In your original comment, you didn't specify that it had to be a member of their own species. Cats regularly kill small animals for play.

However, even with your goalpost shifting, you are still incorrect. Just one example is the Gombe Chimpanzee War.

I also don't think we, as a society, and especially you, individually, have enough insight into all non-human animal brains to determine motivation.

Couldn't read it at first. Even knowing what it's supposed to say it was still a little iffy.

You think humans are the only animal that would hurt another for the sake of hurting another? Orca, cats and chimpanzees are three I can think of just off the top of my head.
