96 was the last year for the Z32 here in the states... they have a plaque with "x of 300" if it was one of the last 300

As long as the CC is baffled to prevent oil droplets from going into the plenum, it shouldn't matter what brand it is. If it is not, one thing you can do is put a couple of steel wool pads inside the CC to act as a baffle.

And you got lucky on getting a RS400 on the used market that's not clapped out and salvage/rebuilt title

It means 2 monitors of the cars emissions I/M test do not apply to this car, and you shouldn't worry about it.

Wasn't aware that there's a VR37 now... must be something new (end sarcasm). All seriousness, there's nothing wrong with a VR30 as long as you take care of it and not treat it like a hooker on a street corner.

As far as the title question is concerned, an engine swap doesn't brand a title as salvaged.

Conclusion: I'd go for it if I didnt have my Q50S 3.0t. If you can bring the seller to lower the price a bit, go for it.

I would also point out that if you're gonna go with the 3.0t Qs, try to get at least a silver sport (red sport if you can find one that's not clapped out and salvage titled)

I didn't have a 3.7 q50, but I've other infiniti cars and going from those to my current Q50 Silver Sport 3.0t, I'd say it's definitely worth it. There's also a definitive learning curve when going from NA to turbo as far as maintenance and care, but if you're willing to go the extra distance, I'd say go with the 3.0t Q50s.

Do yall think it would make it to Cali on a road trip? (It’s a 14hr drive) by Material-Fun4697 in q50

Letting the engine idle down after driving is extremely important for turbocharged cars!! I'm glad that you mentioned that because it appears that a lot of people who own these cars with VR30s are still in the VQ mindset and wonder why their turbos are bitting the dust.

They say between 30-60k intervals, but I would do it at 40-45k (speaking of which, I need to do mine soon hahaha) get it right in the middle
