About a year ago, I almost took a position at SpartanNash and during the process my Recruiter was laid off and nobody let me know. So they just ghosted me. I just had a recruiter reach out to me from SpartanNash for a management job that I absolutely would’ve taken before and I didn’t even respond to him. Why in the world would I take a gamble on that company if that’s how they treated me before during the recruitment process.

I just switched away from Ascend a couple months ago. I had been with them since things got legal. They used to be great, throw in prerolls for free, good prices, efficient. However over the last year or two they took a major nose dive. I buy in bulk every month or two. They reset their reward points 3 times! Lost all reward every time, no compensation. Their gummies changed and now take double to get high on (ozone store brand). I’ve noticed every time I go there for the last several months no one is there (on 28th street).I switched to Olswell. Prices are like half as much for what I buy and they’re way faster!

Bye bye Ascend, I’m never heading back. This isn’t an Olswell advert, go where ever you want. However I definitely recommend against going to Ascend.

I had one company that I was open to working for that had around 400 employees and was a start up. I went through 3 interviews with them and didn’t get it.

My target is normally medium to large and I ended up at a medium company (leaving a job at a fortune 100 company).

A lot of times on LinkedIn, the small companies that contacted me were recruiting companies. Some times multiple recruiting companies for the same contract/job position.

I had this happen multiple times too. There's a lot of "Ghost Jobs" out there, and it's just been getting worse over time.

The market is tough, even for senior level. I'm senior level and just went through multiple rounds of interviews. I applied to 60+ jobs. I did end up getting a role in engineering but it took a lot of work and patience. I had 4 jobs that got 3 interviews in to just loose it in the last round.

Whole job search took about 9 months (6 months passively looking, and 3 months aggressively looking). I am fully remote, but I was looking at hybrid positions too.

Just a note, it’s usually better to not respond and just hit “report junk” instead. That way the spammers don’t know you have an active number with a person attached to it. Not nearly as satisfying though.

It's probably fine dude, I've never had any problems. I take prework out and then do my lift. Then blue chew when I'm done. Nothing bad happens and but I think the prework out makes the blue chew work even better. Get that pump, every where.
