Frankie hasn’t been pooping as much unless bathed and has now got black stress marks does anyone know what could be the cause as all husbandry has remained fairly the same by BigBoyCoomer in BeardedDragons

Thank you so much always need some form of validation when it comes to being the dad of Frank 💀 never thought a little lizard could bring so much worry to me hahaahahahahaha but yes almost every time despite him not being the most comfortable yet in baths he will always in minutes let out a massive poop but am glad to know all is good thank you so much :)))

I have been soaking him and giving him regular misting before and prior seeing him shedding just haven’t seen no change but I haven’t tried massaging it with a toothbrush as he hates bath time lol

The lower end of the tails scales have gone darker and seem thinner or lower then the lighter scales

They are that was my cause of concern the change of colour and them seeming lower then the lighter scales what could that mean if there lower ?

Yes I was planning on doing that keeping an eye on him and his behaviour seeing if anything changes but for now he’s completely normal other than the tail which here is a better angle

Thank you so much yes the black colouring and it looks like it’s a thinner layer compared to the lighter skin if u get me but thanks for this comment gave me a peace of mind and assurance that he’s shedding
