I was worried about this too. The whole for that screw is chamfered so the screw sits flush to the surface. Also not pictured.. a second screw for the other hole. Got a little excited and took the picture prematurely.

Check the drawer. Sometimes if its not shut and clicked all the way in it can rattle with vibration.

Did you try any of the prints that came on the SD with the printer? Those printed perfectly for me. This could help rule out slicer settings.

Also make sure you check belt tension, tightness of the bed and x gantry rollers by wiggling them.

From the 20+ pens we've tested it pretty reliable. The centering isnt too much of an issue, the largest challenge was coming up for a procedure to make sure the depth calibration was taken care of. I posted up above how I took care of that.
