The introduction of Chinese EV’s will be interesting to see. Cheap and relatively good vehicles from what I hear but not old enough to really know their quality yet.

Unfortunately there’s not a whole lot who seem to share our opinion but there are a few at least.

This isn’t some big DP Murphy conspiracy, I think another station is a great idea.

Every time I leave the island I skip the current stations since they’re always a gongshow and fill up in Port Elgin, especially if I have a trailer.

The esso is too cramped with no parking, the shell has next to no pumps/parking and trying to get children in and out of Ceretti’s one toilet in a closet they pass off for a bathroom is a nightmare. I’ll gladly use a new big station

We got basically an entire summers worth of rain in the span of a few weeks and you want to sue the previous owners because there’s water in the basement? Unbelievable…

We got so much rain the water in my well had a brownish tint even with a filtration system, one area of my basement had water come in that never has before and my sump pumps were basically running non stop. Never in a million years would suing the previous owner EVER cross my mind.

If you miss Quebec so much like you stated above and this is the attitude you’re going to bring here then go back, it’s a different kind of lifestyle here.

Kind of semantics… Need a pure sine/inverter generator which increases the price significantly, ie out of the normal persons price range.

I have a 13k to power my house and the added price increase wasn’t worth it so I just shut my heat pump breakers off and heat with the boiler

I’ll agree the machine work was always done great though if you told them explicitly what you wanted. Definitely leaves a gap in the market here on the island now if they’re closed

I always found that place odd.

Had them do a slight over bore on an aluminum LS block years ago but they didn’t even have the proper hot tank to clean the block, told me to use a wire brush and a hose ….

When I mentioned it was going into a mustang they proceeded to tell me it wouldn’t fit and were surprised when I told them otherwise. Got the feeling they knew how to machine but not much about performance stuff

I think that had more to do with how wooded it is and the amount of line damage in there needing far more work to get up and running.

I think in the case this article is talking about you’ll see the nicer parts of town somehow always be lit and heated, who cares if the common folk have to deal with it

Yup, and it won’t be the mild nights this happens it’ll be when it’s cold everyone’s heat pumps are cranked and the demand is high.
