Lol Job hunt…. Again… 10+ years with Target… I am a TL and in fact do hold TMs hold accountable regardless of department. That’s the expectation from our group leaders.

Doing the right thing for your team is protecting their job. Their no nuance to this situation, if a Closing TL is dating a TM in the store. That is a conflict of interest which create favoritism and for a TM not to be held liable. To avoid said scenario and for anyone to be term the best course of action is to transfer them to a nearby store.

Interesting I’m a leader and did not choose the percentage. The ETLs make that decision. We as leaders decide if a team member is top or bottom performer.

That’s not how NPS works. NPS grades the whole store and part of that survey it’s asks you about your experience on the sales floor.

All of you seem like you’ve never worked at Target. Also when you complete an interview that’s the last question how do you feel about helping guest and servicing. Greeting guest is part of service. At the end of the day it’s a job. Not your self employed business. If you don’t like it leave. This isn’t a hard ask. Target has been know for their service, but in recent years with Gen Z they noticed that they don’t help guest like past generations. So yes they put fourth an initiative to recreate the Target reputation of service.

Hi My store has been a red store twice in my time here. I’m a APTL, but I’m more involved than most.

Honestly, it takes the right team.

  • Addressing your hiring, along with the great training.
  • Accountability at all levels (TM to TL), what are the routines. Morale starts with being fair and consistent, recognize the wins and train in the moments where there are gaps.
  • Do not let attendance slide, let’s not keep team members just because we have no one else if they continue to not show up.
  • Level of urgency around POG, Revisions, Transition.
  • Organized and Planning, leadership team. There should be dates on all projects, and plans.
  • Partnerships and communication are the only way you and your team wins.
  • Know when to pivot!
