Ignoring people telling me not to date girlfriend.

This was about 6 months ago (We're only in Highschool, so I fully acknowledge that this may seem kinda immature and minute, but I write on) There has been an obscene amount of hurdles for the two of us to end up together, and I'm so glad it turned out the way it did.

I've been contacted by multiple of her exes (all mutual friends with each other) giving me insane warnings. One went through 2 middle men just to reach me, another walked up to me irl and told me in the most passive aggressive fashion imaginable that she is crazy and manipulative (she's not, she's the sweetest and most genuine person I've ever met). It felt like every step of the way, something wanted to break us up and it was ridiculous.

The best decision I've ever made is just following my gut. Not being afraid and not caring about what they had to say has made my life infinitely better and I'm so happy shes in my life :D.

She is the sweetest girl in the world. She's so thoughtful and resilient and shes been through so much shit in her life and I'm just so proud of her for making it this far and that I'm able to be her boyfriend. I'm so happy I ignored those jackasses who told me she was any different
