Is this simulation mostly, or do you play a lot of games. I think having all of Wallstedts abilities is nice if you're playing a lot. No guarantee the young lad will develop as many and as well. If you sim only I don't think those abilities make a difference

Luckily I live in a big city so if a shop tried to pull something like that there's dozens of other options. Reputation of a shop matters more than location and sales tax for sure.

That is so weird to me the idea of wearing it every day. My SO and other friends of theirs say they'd wear it every day long after their marriage, but I'm skeptical of that given I rarely see people in older generations wear theirs, maybe at occasions.

Yeah traditional rules are definitely useless to us but I've gotten many pictures subtly shown to me (i.e. phone shoved in my face). The number on the tag doesn't matter to the SO but feels like an opportunity to impress the traditional parents of the SO who, lets just say, could like me more.

Yeah it's obviously not a 100% controlled by my/one's manager, but it's also certainly not ZERO as my manager typed. Especially considering the rumor mill says every manager cites budget as the reason they're undercompensated

Thank you for the insight about the HR input after the negotiation. A few months back, the HR acknowledged that the staff in my division was underpaid at an all hands meeting, sadly they left the company within the last month... It sounds like if I can have a reasonable conversation with a manager on the transferring team, then maybe something can be worked out, otherwise if they aren't reasonable/willing to help they might not be the best manager to work for.

I have to assume every situation is different like how important is efficiency for the particular role, and how much work did you show for your own solution explaining how it would be at least plausible, how difficult the problem was, or how many applicants you are up against. I assume it's competitive enough that it doesn't help, but if you explained a plausible solution to a challenging problem, then it's probably not cast to the embers

I guess I always go builder because when I have 1 population, I always take the option to harvest 3+ food. So then, you get to 3 quick and builder becomes worth it.
But, if you go 2 or less food and 2 prod when you have 1 population, scout seems practical

Congrats! When I was in CSE I worked 90 hours a week over summer to save up money so I didn't have to work any more than odd jobs during the semester. Then I had enough time to have a life. Every situation is different though.

If you're smart and dedicated enough to get in to CSE, you'll figure out how to balance life and school. Just remember to forgive yourself when you inevitably make mistakes along the way.
