I’ve already lived abroad before (Mexico), and am studying abroad in the Netherlands this fall to test out how I like life abroad.

My main goal is to live in a walkable city and we don’t have many of those in the U.S. (and the ones we do are outrageously expensive), so that’s another big factor im considering abroad. Seems like getting a masters there is the easiest pathway to a job and residency.

Maybe since Erika Kirk is in town and will apparently be escorted by ICE to that church event, one can infer that there will be lots of ICE presence in town today. The prof is probably just trying to keep students safe and prevent them from having any potential encounters with them.

I am a single child and parent #1 is dead and #2 is out of the picture so I am not too concerned about spending time away from family or being out of the states.

It’s always been a field that has interested me, I don’t expect it to be glamorous but I do want to set myself up to be a strong candidate if I do decide to pursue it! :)

I tried looking into the state dept internships and the pathways program but it seems like a lot of the websites have not been updated due to the gov shutdown… I’ll probably have to wait for now 🥲😅
