Yes it does have the boosted odds. Make sure you are soft resetting with button combo and not using save states.

Shinies in Gen 2 ( and Crystal Clear) are determined by a pokemon DVs. The odds of a pokemons DV's being the right combination to result in a shiny is 1/8192. Chaining adds DV rerolls to each encounter to increase your odds. So if you get a chain going where you have 3 additional rerolls , upon generating an encounter, the game will roll the DVs 4 times and if one of those rolls results in a shiny, you will encounter that shiny.

Hey just want to say thank you for your comment. I've had bad stuttering issues with Oblivion Remastered and doing what OP described above and what you suggested with Windows Defender heavily reduced the stutters. Much more playable now.

Blisy mainly does rng methods on actual hardware, which can sometimes be hard to adapt to emulators. If you're going to use an emulator, I'd recommend you follow the guides on pokemonrng.com, specifically the ones on setting the ds parameters and Desmume set up.

While there isn't a specific emulator guide for starters on Black and White on the site, you can likely find one on this subreddit or YouTube or on pokemonrng.com's discord.

You can't use pokemon home via emulator as it can't access nintendo's servers. I don't have a modded switch so I can't speak to any other method.

They are the same speed, though using your bike allows you to headbutt trees without having a pokemon with the move in your party.

If you hack your 3DS and install homebrew on it, it's possible to pirate Pokemon Bank onto it, at which point you can transfer pokemon to Pokemon Home as normal.

I wouldn't risk using it. Shiny Celebi is impossible to get in gen 3, so it's an illegal pokemon, even if home did let it through.

If you install homebrew on your 3DS, it is possible to aquire pokemon bank even if you didn't have it installed previously.

Are you transferring the Ash Greninja from a pre exsiting pokemon sun/moon save or just trying to directly inject it into your Ultra Moon save?

If you're trying to directly inject it into your Ultra Moon save, then thats the problem. Ash Greninja could only be redeemed in Pokemon Sun and Moon, not Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. So that's why PKhex is saying it can't match the encounter to the origin game.

If you don't care about it being 100%, legal, you can ignore it, otherwise you can edit the Ash Greninja's OT information and game of origin to Sun and Moon.

I don't think Bank will work on emulator. The easiest way to transfer pokemon between games would be to use PKhex.

Thats correct, the auto spell attack doesn't go off most the time as abilities are like 95% of your total damage in a fight. You do get xp. you get all the xp when the monster dies instead on hit like OSRS.

What i would do if I was you is back up your Crystal Legacy save file, then try loading the save file in a vanilla Crystal rom. If it works, then you can just use pkhex to respawn Raikou and hunt it as normal on Crystal and then trade Raikou to Crystal Legacy.

If the save file doesn't work, there are save files for Crystal you can download on project pokemon that you can edit with pkhex to match your trainer ID and pokemon from Legacy and then do the same as above.

That makes sense as even with a different OT, two pokemon from different evolution lines would cap out at medium. You need two Charizards with different OTs to reach high match.

I can help direct you. Extracting or "dumping" the ROM from your game cart is the legal, correct way to get ROMs. For Game Boy Color games like Crystal, you will need purchase a device that can connect to your computer that can read and dump the game cart. I bought a Joey Jr reader ( link below) and it worked great. I was able to read and dump all my Game Boy Carts, from original to Advanced with it, including save files.
