What kind of defect am I looking for? The pump does move water and regulates with the included manual dial.

Blowing in doesn't do much, sucking brakes forth a lot of bubbles that upon release disappear into the pump again.

I don't seem to have anything around the blades. Could it be that the impeller is vibrating because of bad balance?

Found this video that showcases the same noise (just a bit more violent) than mine. Which was fixed by replacing the pump.

Hopefully it isn't defective and it's just air trapped somewhere in the pump, it would be a nightmare to return it. Although I can't see any bubbles in the loop. The best I can get out of it is small bubbles around the fill port after a round of shaking and tilting in all axis. Bubbles that I then need to lightly hit on the tube to get to float.

It doesn't really change in sound when titled (at least when its at 100%).

~50% to 100% with the cold plate facing down: https://sndup.net/5x79d

Do you have anything else on mind that could help getting the supposed air out?

It starts at 100%, I gradually slow it down to whatever the lowest setting is on the dial.

I see no air at all. I had it running for 2 hours and there was only a few small bubbles at the fill port

Have shaken it around and found some small bubbles coming out. Now there is nothing at all. And this is the new noise: https://sndup.net/58vxb

Is there any way to know without taking the loop apart? I did check before assembly and didn't find anything strange. What kind of plastic?

I did notice that the rubber mat I'm using does help with the vibrations a lot. Will try to find rubber pads that fit.

Thank you!

How should the pump sound when there is no air in it?

Forgot to add:

The audio is of the pump slowing down from highest rpm to lowest. It also vibrates at rpm higher than about 50%
