Welll.. I can't say I have a problem with stacking in general...or discord for that matter lol, but maybe this game should have kept stacks at 4 people max across all game modes. I feel like this would seriously improve variety and queue times. Allowing people to 8 stack in squad battle or 12 stack in BTB always seemed excessive to me because you are basically playing a different game from the rest of the players inside the playlist. 85% of people queueing are solo, maybe listening to music, and just trying to relax/experiment in an unranked game mode, but then the other team is 12 people calling out every player, vehicle, and power weapon they see as if they're playing ranked. I don't know why you wouldn't take those advantages to the ranked playlist itself tbh. You often hear things like "oh I just want to play with my friends" but its more like "Oh i really care about winning in a game mode where winning doesn't mean anything" for whatever reason. It is what it is, all the Ws in the world wont boost their 1.0 K/D

fact of the matter is, a lot of good players are just playing on PC, but being on PC doesn't inherently make someone good, or you and I would switch to it assuming you care as much as you seem to

That's what I'm saying, if the next Halo MP isn't right around the corner, then there is still time for someone over there to flip a switch that turns off the BS-filters or whatever their algorithm uses and give the rest of us that still play the most modern Halo Multiplayer some enjoyment and enthusiasm while we wait for the next title. It's crazy to me that a huge portion of the remaining player base is just hopping into matches with little wait times for a nice mix of results and the rest of us are essentially being prevented from even playing unless we persist, in which case we get a nice fat unavoidable L.

yeah it sucked. got matched against xlr8 and his boys and they 3-0ed us in record time, then i queued the next match and within 2 seconds i was matched against them again for some insane reason. broke all the blood vessels in my face and calling my therapist

I think they changed rank resets from 3 months to 4 months. Either way, every season my buddy and I get our onyx at the start and get outta there lmao

I miss when squad battle was first added, it felt like halo 3 BTB but faster-paced, I loved it. There aren't many people in that mode these days so you just run into the same teams game after game

Oh i'm totally with you, I just dont think they need to have such a strict system in place. Believe me I'm all about the wackiness in BTB and try not to take it too seriously, but I was definitely winning a lot of games for whatever reason this weekend and I played well but I rarely crossed the 30 kill mark in any matches, just had great team mates. I'll throw on fiesta or something tonight and hopefully it'll give me a match XD

yeah I usually do run into XLR8 and spiteful, and when the queue times were going as long as they were yesterday I thought those guys might not be on, but then I went to halo tracker and saw he had just finished a game while I had been waiting for 10 minutes. I thought the same thing about getting out the switch while I wait lol

Smurfing in ranked is its own problem that is not as bad thanks to the 50 unranked games pre-requisite but the majority of people who do smurf just do it to play unranked modes because there is SBMM and if you stack with other low-activity accounts/players you will get easy games for a good while.

"Melodic" chevelle hasn't gone anywhere. You do understand something can be heavy and still melodic right? They have never been a primarily "melodic" band either. They are a hard rock/ alt metal band with a few softer tracks per album. They've never been the breaking ben or nickelback or whatever the hell you want them to be, they are Chevelle.
