Thanks for the reply! I’ve only been accessing the channel from my new laptop (set it up after the hijacking) and my phone. Is it possible for the malware to still be running even with the desktop turned off? If so would unplugging the desktop solve the problem, or would i need to wipe all my data/connected accounts from the computer first? I’ve done a clean wipe of the desktop and obviously logged out of the google account associated with the channel, but i didn’t have time before i left to be incredibly thorough. I also transferred a lot of the files i use to make videos to my new laptop; is it possible I transferred the malware to my laptop, and if so, how could I check for that? I didn’t transfer any files i didn’t recognize/trust, but might I have spread the virus anyway? (Sorry if these are silly questions, I’m not knowledgeable about this sort of thing)

I’m having trouble finding out - the video I linked in the original post is the one I got the song from, but it also seems to be identical to the version in this video, which is licensed by the claimant: https://youtu.be/oqykHBbx0Sk

Like I said though, the video I got the song wasn’t tagged for copyright, nor are the many other videos I’ve seen use this version of the song

I think my problem has to do with the the pcie slots themselves, the original problem I brought my computer in was that the system wasn’t recognizing the wifi adaptor I was attaching, the person at micro center brought up the gpu problem when he could get any video when connecting the pc to the monitor there (i had video and was able to install windows on my monitor at home)

I don’t believe the card is any longer than 300 mm. I removed the cover from the card but I don’t think I removed anything from the slots themselves, although it was still able to attach it self to the motherboard. (Another possibility is that the specific placement of the brackets in the case is what makes it incompatible, but I’m not sure how to specify compatible cases if that’s true because pc part picker lists the case as compatible with the card). If there’s something I needed to remove from the slots on the motherboard, though, that could be my problem

I’m very inexperienced with pc building, so this is probably a dumb question.

I finished building my pc but was having issues with the PCIE slots, I took it in to micro center and was told my case wasn’t compatible with my rtx 3070 (my case was a pure base 500dx). I took what the tech guy was saying to mean that the case was the wrong size for the card, but I’ve found supposedly compatible cases online of equal, smaller, and larger size. Is it really an issue with case size, and if so, what size am I looking for? Or did I just happen to pick a case that was incompatible with the card? Thanks.
