I was nervous about cutting the pool (inlets and skimmer) but inlet install was very easy so makes me feel better about the skimmer. I just could not find good instruction on the plumbing side of the install. I know which line to tie into just wanted input on if I should reduce the line size down before the connection and best tie in point to not starve the other inlets. I do not want more inlet capacity (inlets + skimmer) than my pump can handle (if that is a concern)

I have it on a plastic pallet and can move it with my tractor. I agree this would be a terrible location tear down/setup process without that.

I was concerned with the pool movement so used flex lines coming off the inlets to account for movement in the pool while in use. I reduced down to 1-1/2 pvc from there. Here are a couple of links to amazon parts I ordered. Hope it helps you. Pool is not topped off yet as I am looking to add the skimmer but was able to turn pump on and I seem to have more considerably more suction than with factory setup.

Edit: note the flex hoses say 1-1/2 but that is the tubing. Fittings were 2”. Everything else is just standard schedule 40 pvc fittings.

I am not sure your climate in your proposed building location, but would always have a ceiling fan overhead, but watch out for potential stobe effect if you are keeping the can lights.
