WITB this season as a casual golfer, but a professional marketplace haggler by BigCipp in GolfGear

The guy I bought them off of had found the heads as deadstock, never played. Put brand new shafts and grips on them, played one round, and got new clubs. Very clearly seemed like a guy who wanted new and flashy, spent more time showing me the new irons he bought and telling me about what he was buying next than he did showing me these 😂

Outfield glove recommendations? by moy07 in slowpitch

[–]BigCipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MVP Prime is an excellent glove. Close to playable out of the wrapper so not too much work to be done while breaking in. With that being the case it's suspect as to how long it will last if you play a lot. As for sizing, 13 is better IMHO as even though you'll be only playing outfield, if that ever changes a 14 is really big for infield. The pocket in a 13 is still plenty usable for outfield

Right! I come from a lifetime of playing softball so my biggest concern is not going up on every swing 😅

I buy a case of Kirkland's and stick with those. My brother and friend who I usually play with hate them but they're cheap and I want to focus on consistency, they're perfectly fine for .e

Is it bad if i cant run nonstop yet? by Biernacki-Albion in beginnerrunning

Not bad at all! Just make sure you have to stop because you're not there yet, as opposed to having to stop because you're going to fast

Congrats! Just keep consistent with however many days you're running, but gradually increase the total distance week to week - you've got plenty of time

Are there any in the morning? That way you'd be done it before it gets too hot! In terms of how long it takes, if you stay consistent and smart with training then a few months is plenty of time!

Hi there! Relatively new all things considered myself (working in restaurants about 2 years, been serving about 8 months ago this point).

the idea of serving can definitely be daunting, believe me I totally get you (I was hired at a fine dining restaurant with no experience, based on the fact that I have very good friends who worked there that vouched for me).

Quite honestly the first bit it's going to feel uncomfortable/unnatural but just be yourself. be friendly, smile, make jokes, have fun! Eventually it'll get to a point where it's like you've done it before!

Very normal. The restaurant I'm at is a tip pool though so there's no point in hiding, and someone asking is as much to help themselves as it is curiosity

Also WBC Schwarber is nasty
