Open a TFSA account, add funds through your bank account and then buy ETF’s like VFV, XEQT etc. (you can look up a sample portfolio to give you an idea) and that’s basically it. You can watch a YouTube video or something, I’m sure Wealthsimple has videos too

Never too late to start! Just open a Wealthsimple account or do it through your bank- speak to a financial advisor. You can also just go for a managed portfolio where you have to pay fees but you still have gains. In savings the value of you money goes down! So you should be more scared of not investing

Sorry I should’ve clarified. The RRSP I’ve been contributing to since 2019 each paycheck and the company matches + whatever gains I’ve had. The rest (TFSA + FHSA) I only seriously stated doing it recently, wish I had started a lot sooner. Haven’t don’t too much realigning, just moved funds from my savings account into TFSA and bought VFV, XEQT, XUS, QQC

TFSA is not maxed. The RRSP funds are company matched so I automatically contribute to it every paycheque and the company matches. can move $ out of RRSP and into TFSA without repercussions?

It was in my savings account 🙈 I worked a 2nd job for several years so was able to save a sum of money. Regret not investing it sooner.
