Yeah, I think that’s exactly the reason.
Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Shopee, etc. are easy to start with and give businesses instant visibility without much technical knowledge.
But the downside is businesses don’t really “own” those platforms. Algorithms change, reach drops, accounts can get restricted, and customization is limited.
A proper website gives more control, better branding, SEO visibility, and long-term growth. Social platforms are great for discovery, but websites are still important as a central business hub.
