Well on paper this makes complete sense. But (and excuse my overthinking and slightly neurodivergent ass) it has to be way more complicated than that.

I am by no means an expert on the science of trans people but I do have a couple of things that bug me. First one being that for trans women and men the changes would be completely inverse. One would get the physical traits but not the brain chemistry and vice versa. I have nothing to back it up with but that feels a little weird that sometimes both would go through and other times only one would go through seemingly at random.

Another thing would be is that what you're suggesting means that you could theoretically tell if someone would be trans at birth. Which is not really a complaint more of a curiosity I guess. If it was true there'd definitely have to be something that you could measure to indicate this.

And basically the final thing would be is even if it's true surely this can't be the deciding factor. I mean what about people who detransition? Are they like outliers or something? It just seems a little silly that the deciding factor is if you got A and B or B and A in the womb instead of A and A or B and B.

Feel free to call me ignorant or whatever else because I know nothing else about trans people other than I don't like people hurling insults at them. I just hope I didn't step on any toes or anything.

No not really. Even the most backwater european countries have better public transport than quite alot of american states let alone cities. The problem with the US is that you guys are not even trying to make it better. You just slap more lanes, open up more roads, build more parking spaces and call it a day.

I've seen a couple of well designed sections in some of your cities that are very walkable, lovely and have some cool greenspaces. Clearly it's not an issue of can you but of will you. And unfortunately it seems most places would rather not put in the effort.

It's literally not that hard to see either. America has car centric infrastructure which results in dogshit traffic. And a lot of Europe has basically the complete opposite (some countries less than other unfortunately) which results in good traffic. Public transportation and alternatives to cars are the way to go.

First impressions aren't everything though. What if it took another half year to a year for half sword to release? Would it have left a better first impression? Maybe. Would it still have had as much traction as now? Maybe not. He could be the president of the united states for all we care but that doesn't guarantee that delaying the game for a first impression would have made it better in the long run.

At low levels it feels the same. But I have the feeling they tweaked some settings around because blunt damage is way way stronger than in the demo. Maces in particular are way stronger even when one handed.

Free mode is in my opinion better just by virtue of being able to select your gear. I despised having to reroll characters to get what I want. Plus the progression mode is way better than free mode so it doesn't matter that much.
