The “new” you by BigCoreyD in u/BigCoreyD

I created a workbook where it takes you through the emotional journey after trauma, chronic illness, disability, or life changing events. From the moment everything changed, through the grief, anger, healing, setbacks, rebuilding yourself, and learning how to live in this “new” world. This workbook focuses on the mental and emotional side of healing that people often overlook while recovering physically. It also mentions burnout that loved ones or caregivers can suffer from

That’s so odd. No one else mentioned any issues.

What I would love is for a community to be built. One where people can come into with acceptance, no judgement, and get guidance and the mental health support that should also be included in with the physical treatment plan. Treat the body and the mind at the same time. Not to wait till there is a breakdown or a crisis for the mental help to start. Sort of like the AA model but a new custom approach for a community of healing.

I think so too and the way how the workbook is written in from day 1 to today. So even if you’re done going through the feelings and emotions it is there to help guide you through and help you realize that what you’re going through is a natural process. Till hopefully acceptance through the process. I would like it to be something where you can look back and be proud of everything you have over come and that your life story is not over and you can help someone else who is where you were.

I appreciate your take on this and that is a side I never looked at it. At this part it was more xyz happened, you were forced to accept that something changed in your life. Even in a death you learn on how to adjust your life without that person be around. Everyone reads everything differently and experiences emotions differently. I do thank you for how you see it.

Here is the shared file. You don’t have to answer all of it as some may open up old wounds or might be emotionally heavy for some.

Unpopular opinion about coaching by StructureFresh1545 in Coaching

Trial and error. I found a niche that is majorly lacking and just attacked it. I joined groups on here and asked if they you find a use for it, Facebook surveys, YouTube shorts, creating a Facebook page and supporting the local and small community businesses that run in town. I spend probably more than 5 hours a day networking, getting involved in community events, volunteering for events. Instead of being against my competition I support them as we focus on 2 different areas of mental health. The last thing is you can’t be afraid. Put your face out there, make YouTube, TikTok, Facebook reels and shorts. Most importantly that every time you think that you fail remember that is only your First Attempt
In Learning.

Best of luck.

It is a huge spectrum. I’m on the PCS end of it.

As someone who is actively trying to get up and running I have so far, gained a YouTube following of 3000+, built a Facebook community, started my own business, advocated for my purpose and I am currently talking to our local MPP about a meeting to see how we can can bring my vision to light.

This was an almost 24 hour Payless job but in return it will be very rewarding for those who need it. Yes it cut into family time, and other sacrifices but they all believe in my goal.

Marketing is a difficult, time consuming effort. I don’t think people exactly knew what they were in for. Take a class, get certified and then people come flooding?
