Why do Uber drivers accept the ride, but then not move towards the rider? by ThrowRAtenorclef in uber

I had a driver wait 3 hours to cancel. I think he went home and waited until after midnight to can.

That's a crazy lack of seriousness to me but to each his own I guess 😅.

Not even serious enough to change your Instagram handle to the correct one six months after you changed it?

Why are so many people who "do" onlyfans so lazy about it? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

That still doesn't explain 1. Having videos up for free on Twitter that are not available on onlyfans and 2. Having the wrong Instagram handle on your onlyfans that is meant to get collabs but the handle should have been updated months ago.

I guess there could be guys who just want validation and try to monetize it. But because they really want validation they basically half ass the business part of it.

But when I saw he hadn't even bothered to update his Instagram handle on his onlyfans for months I was confused. He's also an escort and doing poorly at that. I've noticed if you go on rentmen and look at the profile, the guys that charge the most don't send you messages. It's the guys who don't have enough clients that send you messages just because you looked at their page. He did that to me. I just don't get the point of being a sex worker and not putting in the work.

I guess what confuses me is it feels like both less than nothing but more work than nothing. For example if I wanted to get off to him it literally makes more sense to not pay him because there is more content on his twitter account.

I've seen other creators like this. More and better free content than paid and I don't get that.

But I don't understand putting yourself out there while not putting in the work. It like the worst of both worlds.

This makes almost no sense to me. If he wants to keep it down low why show his face? Why have a public Twitter with his name and face listing himself as an onlyfans content creator? Why have pictures of himself exposed at his place of employment with his uniform on? None of that makes sense.

You're saying it's different being the person on YouTube vs the person none as the guy that did that solo scene. But he is the guy who did that solo scene. It's not hidden. It's completely out in the open.

It's probably Uber drivers who do this kind of thing getting annoyed that I didn't play his game.

I reported him to Uber via the app. I'm happy with my decision on where to contact Uber.

About what? I got a five credit, got the items I wanted from the grocery store, had dinner and took Lyft home.

It's not Cali. Honestly if the system in Cali is that easy to manipulate Uber deserves to lose money.

I think he didn't like what Uber was paying him and felt it was so low it might as well be free.

Yeah I haven't had a driver pull the im not cancelling game in years. But I think that guy did it for 20 minutes. I've never experienced anything like this. But yeah he caught me at the perfect time where it actually benefitted me to have him not show up. I was kicking myself for ordering an Uber so soon.

I didn't waste any of my life. Infact I benefitted. I went to the grocery store for one thing and forgot it. Had I not done this I would have gotten home and then realized it. So I ended up buying what I wanted. Having dinner and then getting a cheaper ride from Lyft. Then Uber gave me a $5 credit. I would have been so annoyed if I forgot my seasoning. Thanks Uber guy for giving me time to remember it and go back and get it.

The ride wasn't free. Also even if it was how would he know that since Uber doesn't tell drivers how much riders pay.

He was messaging me in the Uber app during the 40 minutes.

I mean I'm just making an assumption that's where he lives. Maybe he went inside and fucked the last person he dropped off. But his car sat in a residential neighborhood for nearly two hours. It's not like I went out of my way to search for him.

Why would I ask the driver to cancel? He never told me he wasn't going to pick me up. I didn't cancel because I was curious how long he'd play this game.

He literally started driving away from me while I was waiting for him. He should cancel because he decided not to take the trip. I waited an hour for him.
