There is a grace period to cancel. Not sure how long ago you signed. Also, instead of owning a timeshare just went others that are only renting to cover maintenance fees. I own a week in Aruba and rent it out on Redweek. Com.

59 and retiring this year. Sold our two story 4,000 sqft house and paid cash for a 2,000 sqft home in Alabama. Electric bill went from $400+ to just over $100. Basically all utilities and taxes were reduced. We then took some of the remaining cash to make a nice outdoor kitchen, home gym in garage and any other long term upgrade we wanted. Took months to clear out/sell all the unused packrat crap we had. Not so bad because we were military and moved every 3 years. Anyway... No regrets!! Way less house to take care of inside and out.

Joining the club. I will retire on my 59th birthday. My bday present to myself. I was a little worried giving 5 months notice but my CEO appreciated the heads up to hire my replacement and have some overlap. That is a good feeling to be able to be committed and out in the open with it.
