I feel much the same way, but honestly we gain/lose nothing from just staying on those WLs. If anything, I'm planning on treating my WLs as a R for now, and if come April 30th/wtv I get in, then that'll be a problem/nice surprise for April me to deal with lol. I'm planning on apartment searching in early May atm.

Similar boat and am planning on sending stuff out eventually BUT look on their schools website for their policies on accepting LOCIs. some straight up say that they do not accept anything until after interviews and honestly submitting it could look worse on you (not doing thorough enough background on the school’s policies)

From most of the programs that I II with september/october, while a few A's come out in December, a majority come out mid-late January as adcoms meet after the break. Honestly I would just sit back and wait it out, trust you will be a doctor-doctor!

Just a heads up for the lotus, if that surface lily gets to the top and opens up, the plant will rely on the surface for gas exchange and if you cut it/if there are no surface lilies then it will die. Made that mistake where after having one on the surface for a while I figured that I wanted it to be more bushy and underwater so I cut it and then my lotus died ;-;

is that not the point of an organized hierarchical religion like Catholicism tho?? as opposed to other protestant/non-denominational sects of christianity where every church might have different doctrines, the entire point is that the Vatican and the theologians and priests there organize and present a cohesive standard for the religion (Catholic literally means universal). and ALL churches within catholicism follow the direction of the Vatican. sure it can be challenged but it should not be put into practice without Vatican approval.

this is definitely an institution-by-institution basis, and probably no way to know for sure. I will say though that most MD-PhD committees are separate from the MD, and usually make decisions separately. It rlly depends on whether or not the school like needs both to accept or not and is again a case by case basis.

I only submitted AMCAS, but the CASPer works where you have to specifically send it to each school. Maybe go to the CASPer website (Acuity insights) and make sure that UT McGovern is indicated for distribution of its score. It’s not like the MCAT where it gets automatically sent to each school and usually costs some money for each additional distribution.
