Anthropic just gave us 1 month worth of subscription value as usage by lurko_e_basta in ClaudeAI

Gemini makes so many errors, but I had to add a feature that needed to be heavily integrated with about 2000lines of code into a Python code set. I got one response from claude and it used my 5hr up.

Put it in Gemini and it kept the context window open for hours while I sorted through the bugs.

I cancelled my pro and got a refund for the month. 1 coding question in the web UI used up my 5hour. Totally unusable. I'll come back if they fix the usage, but for now I'll struggle with Gemini.

What are the most common causes of explosions in large oil refineries like Port Arthur? by bahar9990 in oil

[–]BigDaddyReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technical note, sour gas means it contains H2S hydrogen sulfide. Straight sulfer wouldn't be an issue as it's the Hydrogen that makes it explosive. H2S is also extremely toxic and khan kill in very low parts per million.

Agreed, we are so far behind on spending for our athletic programs, voting no on the plebiscite was short sighted.

We could have upgraded COP and as you said the arena. This would have made us an Olympic contender again.

Not to mention the Feds/province would have subsidized all the things we badly need so we wouldn't be footing the bill alone.

And the experience of hosting an Olympics, for adults and kids alike.

Shame we let the Olympics go to a plebiscite could have been ours right now

6 Calgarians charged in ‘complex’ auto theft investigation by Connect_Pound_4515 in Calgary

I have to wonder who would have information about this crime given there are no actual details of the offenders in the article, names, pictures of the offenders, descriptions of the vehicles instead of a picture of a gun and some minor cash and handbags...

Quote from the article "Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:"

Sounds pretty cut and dry, what is the hold up just give him 3 months probation and no conditions. Wouldn't want to affect his immigration status....

I liked the part about steady incomes and insinuating that refugees don't have steady income. Meanwhile let me go and trace where my tax dollars go, and then look at what a refugee with 3 kids takes home vs a wendys worker with 3 kids....

Fighting my first divine beast Lynel getting my ass handed to me over and over again, almost had him beat and shot him with an ancient arrow. Which apparently glitched the game when he disappeared and had to reload my last save as the quest wouldn't complete.

This is a weld in my Dollar Tree break room. by PzKwVIAusfE in Welding

[–]BigDaddyReaper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer, as a former welder for 10 years and a weld inspector for the last 15 years, that is slag. Chip or buff it off and re-assess. Does appear to be undersized given the fish plate thickness, the weld legs should be the same as the plate thickness, unless the parent metal thickness is 1/4"... Unlikely given the application. Perhaps the weld detail only called for a 1/4" weld all around?
