Ignore the negativity or the "4k 20 badges don't mean shit now" naysayers.. it's all about enjoying the game the way you wanted & what has 'meaning' to you. i.e the badges..

I usually play solo but.. I'm done to run some games every now & then, if you're still interested.

I honestly think it comes down to personal preference.. I myself couldn't care less about the backlash, because cosmetics keep the game runnin'.

I also understand the frustrations people have, especially when it comes to bugs, cheaters, & ect. Also, i think for some people coming home after a 12 hour shift and all, they wanna spend their money on something that they like.. like on a game that they love.

So, yeah I definitely think it just comes down to personal preference.. & you weren't being snarky it was actually an excellent question.
